a) Coming from Florence, in the direction of Rome
Exit Certosa via SS2, leading to Siena/Grosseto
After 60 km you arrive at exit Siena Sud (south), change to SR/SS2 (“Cassia”) which is leading to Buonconvento – Montalcino – Rome
After 40 km on this road (ignoring the exit “Montalcino”) you pass by Bagno Vignoni
After 50 metres turn right and continue on the SP, ref. SR 323, towards Castiglione d´Orcia
After 14 km you pass by Seggiano (on your right)
Keep on same road towards Castel del Piano
After about 500 m turn left following the signposts: Pescina, Campo sportivo, Il Giardino di Daniel Spoerri
The entrance to the park is on the left handside, facing the football ground


b) Coming from Grosseto in the direction of Siena
After 20 km turn right towards Paganico/Monte Amiata and stay on this road until you arrive at Castel del Piano (shortly after having passed by Arcidosso)
Follow the direction of Seggiano/Siena
Ignore the first turn-off to Pescina
Only shortly before arriving at Seggiano turn right (direction of Pescina, Campo sportive
The entrance to the park is on the left handside, facing the football ground

Please, do not get irritated if you find a red star indicating the „Giardino“ on the maps: „Deutsche Generalkarte Toskana” (Italien 5) nor on the “Falk-Urlaubskarte Toskana”. Both are very helpful but the marking for the „Giardino“ is not at the right place!
