KIMITAKE SATO
Born on 30th, January, 1969 in Hiogo (Japan), works in Turin. He studied Fine Arts in Osaka. Sato decided to go to Europe when he was still quite young. Already then he knew that he wanted to go to Italy as a cradle of classical European art. In Turin he worked for Luigi Mainolfi, whose work at the "Giardino" has been realized also with Sato´s capability in welding. In Kimitake Sato´s own contribution to the "Giardino" he used heavy iron sheets but they remind of light Japanese paper-art of origami.
