PAUL
TALMAN
Born in Zurich in 1932, died in Ueberstorf (Switzerland) in 1987. Abstract painter,
sculptor, graphic artist and designer who took a deep interest in the relationship
between colour and motion. As a painter he is counted among the constructivists.
As a designer Talman worked in Switzerland, in Paris and the U.S. His “motion-pictures”
(beginning of the 60ies) fit well into the concept of the MAT-Edition that Daniel
Spoerri released at that time and in which Talman participated.
