ANDRÉ
THOMKINS
Born in Lucerne (Switzerland) in 1930, died in Berlin in 1985. Most of the palindromes
at the buildings´ walls of the “Giardino” were invented by
André Thomkins, a close friend of Daniel Spoerri who adored him for his
talent for drawing. The palindromes illustrate the intellectual character that
is typical for Thomkins´ work as a whole. www.thomkins.com
